YAY! I DID IT!!!
I made the switch to WordPress and with some help of the AWESOME Cathy at Desperately Seeking WordPress, I designed almost every bit of it myself. As most of you know, I’ve designed blogs forever, but never WordPress.
For the past two months I’ve been working with WordPress on my Birmingham Mom Online site and once I got used to it, I just knew I had to switch this blog over as well. As EVERYONE who uses WordPress says, it truly is better.
I had said on the old site that the design wouldn’t change, but last night I got to thinking about it and just couldn’t talk myself out of coming up with something new and fresh so I’ve been working on it all day.

I think that the image really describes what southern life is about. Being relaxed, sitting on the front porch with a glass of sweet tea while watching your kids play. And when I found this one with the blue and red, I just had to have it.
